2017 Prime Minister Cup-View Of Senior National Players.

We are presenting you the 2017 prime minister cup-view of senior national players of Nepal regarding the first ever Prime Minister Cup Cricket Tournament. Total of eight teams are competing from today. All the eight teams have captains which are all the members of national team. Here we are presenting you all the views given by the senior players.

All the skippers seems to be delighted by the decision of the Nepal Sports Council to organize such a big tournament.

Gyanendra Malla:

Skipper of Gyanendra Malla said that it is a very good step towards the development of the Nepali cricket. He also expressed that it is a very good opportunity for the players of various parts of Nepal will get chance to play a national tournament. He also expressed that the prize money also provides the motivation to the new players to join Cricket. He claimed Nepali cricket is moving towards professionalism slowly. Gyanendra Malla is also the founder of Kathmandu Cricket Training Center.

Sharad Veshwakar:

Sharad Veshwakar is leading Central Region in this tournament. He said that the 50 over format is itself a huge achievement for Nepalese cricket. Even though such a big tournament is organized after long time it is a appreciatable step.  He said that the big cash price is also a another factor to prove we are moving in the good direction for the development of Cricket.

Binod Bhandari:

Binod Bhandari is leading team Tribhuwan Army. He also claims that it is a good opportunity for his team to play a good tournament like this. He said that they were waiting and preparing for a long time for such a good 50-over tournament. He also claimed that Nepali Cricket is moving forward with a good note to professionalism.

Mehbob Alam, Basant Regmi, Shakti Gauchan and Parash Khadka gave the same thoughts about the tournament. Overall the tournament is taken in the positive way which will add a brick in the further development of the cricket. Every players had the same type of thoughts about the development of young players and the opportunity they are getting in the young age.

Mean while Jagat Tamata, head coach of Nepal cricket and technical head of tournament said that he will monitor this tournament as the selection of the players for the upcoming ICC World Cricket League Championship agains Hongkong. Jagat Tamata is very much positive about this opportunity which can give good and variety of players for the upcoming game with Hong Kong.
